The Geo Plus concept
Our goal is to aim for significant cost reductions for our customers. We try to accomplish this with our unique concept. This concept is built on three principles:
- Bring your own surveyors
- Bring your own additional sensors
- We provide service & knowledge
Bring your own surveyors
Customers can rent our vessels with or without a crew of surveyors. Our experienced marine crew will always be at your service on any excursion. Our hydrographical crew is specialised in the use of our sensors and mechanisms.
If our customer brings its own surveyors, our technical consultants have contact on a regular basis to ensure that everything on board is functioning optimally. In case of any malfunction we aim to fix it within 24 hours.
Bring your own additional sensors
Our vessels are built for one purpose only: surveying. They are equipped with high-end sensors, GPS, a USBL system and other surveying equipment. Customers can rent our ships with only the ‘basic’ list of high-end sensors, but on top of that we can install numerous additional types of sensors.
Basic installation of a vessel
The Geo Focus is standard equipped with the following hull mounted sensors:
- MBES Kongsberg EM2040D, 200/300/400 kHz, 0,5x1
- SBES Kongsberg EA400,38/200 kHz
- USBL Kongsberg HIPAP 501
- DP1 Alphatron / NAVIS 400
- Gyro/Motion IXSEA Hydrins III
- Hydr. positioning Trimble SPS852
- Sound Velocity Probe Valeport mini SVP
- Sound Velocity Sensor Valeport mini SVS

We provide service & knowledge to help you
At Geo Plus we listen to our customers, and we have developed survey vessels based on their wishes and our expertise.
We have built dedicated survey vessels so the customer does not need to convert an old ship. This way we save time.
We have equipped every vessel with a hoisting eye, so it can be lifted on a transport ship. This also means that any malfunctions can be repaired on site, which saves time.
The Geo Focus is equipped with gyro stabilizer technology. This enables the crew to stay on board for a longer period, saving our customers time and money. This also leads to more safety and cleaner surveying data.
