Since the beginning of our hydrographic services we have been exploring global innovations, from which we learned and developed ourselves to become an excellent provider of customized hydrographic services world-wide. Due to our smart integration of knowledge and excellent facilities we are proud to offer customized solutions world-wide. What distinguishes Geo Plus
The specialized domains we work in are shallow water survey operations and working in extreme environments world-wide. Our vessels are designated (new)built for our services and are fully equipped with hull mounted survey systems. In our fleet we have “No Limit Ships” fast survey vessels with a smart design for quick mobilisation and additional multipurpose crew tender ability. Next to excellent equipment we have a team of well-trained and experienced crew and surveyors working in the field, supported by a team of outstanding specialists in data processing and further technical support.

The 35m Hybrid Survey vessel GEO FOCUS has started in March 2013 with cable-route surveys in the Belgian part of the North Sea, commissioned by G-tec. It concerns an extensive seabedsurvey for main client ELIA and the Belgian Offshore Grid project, which will connect future Belgian wind farms with the onshore grid near the harbour of Zeebrugge. In the near future this Belgian grid will be connected to the European super grid that would ultimately interconnect the various European countries with a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power grid. Elia is Belgium’s electricity transmission system operator – it is also a key player at European level.
De haven van Constanţa, met op de voorgrond de reeds bestaande strekdam.
De GEO-SOLUTION is begin april 2013 per speciaal transport over de weg vervoerd naar Constanţa de grootse Roemeense havenstad aan de Zwarte Zee. In opdracht van Van Oord zal de GEO-SOLUTION daar langere tijd voor surveywerkzaamheden worden ingezet. De bestaande strekdam die de haven beschermt tegen de invloeden van de Zwarte Zee, zal met 1100 meter worden verlengd, waardoor de commerciële functie van Constanţa in de regio wordt versterkt. Dit is de eerste keer dat de GEO-SOLUTION per as is vervoerd naar de werklocatie. Dit is weer een voorbeeld van de flexibele dienstverlening van GEO-PLUS.
De GEO SOLUTION , bedekt met ijs, wordt in het uiterste noorden van Rusland aan boord gehesen van de dredger Utrecht van Van Oord.

De GEO MOTION heeft de werkzaamheden in Zweden, project Karehamn, Öland aan de Baltische Zee beëindigd.
Dit multipurpose-schip is o.m. uitgerust met multibeam EM 2040 en single beam EA 400 van Kongsberg. Beide hull mounted.

Geo Plus is in 2013 voor het vijfde achtereenvolgende jaar met de GEO EXPLORER voor meetwerkzaamheden en fast rescue actief in de Baydaratskaja Bay (Siberië) bij het schiereiland Yamal.
De GEO EXPLORER heeft de surveywerkzaamheden bij de Maasvlakte 2 afgerond. Opdrachtgever PUMA, Projectorganisatie Uitbreiding Maasvlakte, is een samenwerkingsverband van de baggerconcerns Boskalis en Van Oord. PUMA realiseert in opdracht van Havenbedrijf Rotterdam tussen 2008 en 2013 de eerste fase van Maasvlakte 2.
Geo Plus Scheemda heeft met de Elics Side Scan Sonar (100/400kHz. van IXSEA) succesvol wrakken opgespoord t.b.v. het Bergingen Eemsgeul Project.
Wrak van 75 m in de Noordzee, opgenomen met Kongsberg EM2040.
De GEO CONNECTION in de takels voor vervoer naar de Perzische Golf.
De GEO CONNECTION is voor langere tijd ingezet voor surveywerkzaamheden in de Perzische Golf. Dit multipurpose-schip dat in 2010 in de vaart kwam, is o.m. uitgerust met multibeam EM 3002D van Kongsberg.
De nieuwste aanwinst GEO FOCUS, bouwjaar 2012, op weg naar Engeland.
Dit 35 meter lange schip is geschikt voor hybrid survey en ROV-en AUV support. De GEO FOCUS bezit een greenpassport van Lloyds omdat het zeer weinig brandstof gebruikt. Het schip kan opereren in ijskoude poolomstandigheden (het dek is verwarmd) en in tropische condities (inclusief woestijnzandstormen) zoals in Koeweit en Abu Dhabi. Het vaartuig heeft gecertificeerde hijsogen en kan aan dek van het werkschip van de opdrachtgever vervoerd worden naar de werklocaties . Alle technische specificaties: zie scheepsgegevens.
